Where it all began
My love for art and design started in school, through to college, university, achieving a first in Graphic Communication, and progressing into a much-loved career in the creative industry as a graphic designer. I have had the pleasure of working on many creative campaigns for National and International clients in both design agency and in-house. In 2012 I entered the world of wedding stationery. Greg and I were my first customers’ – and we were a nightmare! I learnt so much from our journey as both client and customer, developing a huge passion for wedding stationery along the way. I had so many ideas for designs that I wanted to create, however only had one wedding to design for. And that was when the seed for Wedbury Creative was planted.
Where we are now
In 2016 I took the plunge from full-time employee into the world of freelance design and wedding stationery. There’s been many weddings, commercial clients, three house moves, one renovation and two babies in between – life is busy, but the love of creating beautiful designs is very much at the forefront of everything I do. As with so many of us, the idea of being environmentally conscious has become increasingly prevalent over recent years, and it is something that I have personally become aware of when designing. Therefore, all Wedbury Creative designs are 100% recyclable, using carefully selected FSC certified / recycled papers. The majority of our invitations are printed in-house, of which the empty ink cartridges are recycled. You can find the details to the specific papers within The Collection details. I am so proud to say that Wedbury Creative is Carbon positive, with a donation made every month to Ecologi to offset our impact.
